Let me know what you think in the comments box below or on my facebook page. ![]() Have you tried these Hollywood Contour and Beauty Light Wands? Whether they are value for money, I cannot comment yet as I haven’t used them up so have no idea how long they will last but what I do know is that a little goes a long way! I don’t think there is anything I can find that isn’t a positive about these products. The highlight, I have applied to the high points of my cheeks, the bridge of my nose, cupids bow and arch of my eyebrow. I apply the contour to under my cheeks, my temples, across the top of my forehead ( anything to help make my huge forehead look smaller!!!), down either side of my nose and only during the evening and competition makeup I apply a little along my jawline and just below my bottom lip ( minimal amount). In all three looks I use the products in the same areas just in different intensities….drawn on by the applicator and blended with a beauty blender. The key here is not to over do it!! The smallest of pressure will release the liquid so take it slowly especially on first use!! When the product is in the applicator, it is ready to use but first, re-lock the tube using the twist action that unlocked it. 24Shop at Sephora Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Matte Beauty Blush Wand peach tube with gold cap on white background. Doing this opens the tube and allows the product to be squeezed to the tip. To use, you need to remove the lid and twist the part just above the applicator to ‘on’. In terms of the packaging, the tubes themselves have a gorgeous rose gold tone to them which I am sure most makeup-a-holics would agree, makes it totally irresistible! The squeezable tube is then tipped with a padded applicator. The highlight is a subtle peachy, pearlescent glow, not heavily shimmered which is one thing I look for in a highlighter as I don’t like a full-on glitter ball look!! I tend to contour lightly most of the time but also wanted something to use when I have a fake tan for dancing so decided to go for the medium dark in the hope that if it was as good as it looked then it would blend really well and be suitable for both uses. The contour wand comes in two shades, light medium and medium dark. Given that I hadn’t been able to make my mind up as to what I wanted to use my credit on so when I first caught sight of the new Hollywood range launch…I knew instantly! I couldn’t help it! Yes I am on a makeup buying ban….STILL…( 10 days people, 10 days left!!)….however, I had credit on my online account at Charlotte Tilbury!
